Carpet Pee - oh oh what do I do?
A dog’s sense of smell is 40 times greater than a human’s, and they use that incredible trait in many ways. Dogs can smell the odor of urine, whether that’s another dog in the park or their own in the house. That smell may draw a dog back to the same spot, signaling to them that that’s where they go pee. Or, maybe you didn’t let them out in time - either way, what do you do?
Let’s figure out how you get dog pee out of carpet on your own.
Sop up: as much urine as you can with paper towels.
Mop up: rinse with clean water and sop up again.
Spray on: spray vinegar over the spit letting the acid in the vinegar neutralize mold potential and is a great antibacterial.
Sprinkle on: sprinkle baking soda over the vinegar patch and watch it foam up a little. Let it sit for 24 hours then vacuum it up.
